Comparison

Today I will write a comparison between two race cars which are the Bugatti Veyron and the Porsche 911 Turbo and I will write some information about the speed and the horse power . Also in this paragraph I will write about the similarities and differences between these two race cars.

There are few major similarities between the Bugatti Veyron and the Porsche 911 Turbo. The first similarity is that both of them are sport cars. Both of them have a very high safety system. The second similarity is that both cars have only two doors and only two passengers can sit in each car. Another similarity is that they both have turbo which makes the car faster than usual.

Although there are many similarities, there are also many important differences between these two fast cars. The first difference is the price. The Bugatti Veyron costs 1.4 million Euro (www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) whereas the Porsche 911 Turbo costs 150,862 Euro (www.rsportscars.com/porsche). Secondly, the top speed of the Bugatti is 252.9 mph (www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) while the top speed in the Porsche is 193 mph (www.rsportscars.com/porsche). The third difference is the 0-60 mph. The Bugatti Veyron scored less than 2.7 second (www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) and the Porsche 911 Turbo scored 3.5 seconds (www.rsportscars.com/porsche). The fourth difference is the torque. The Bugatti Veyron has 922 lb.ft (www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) whereas the Porsche 911 Turbo has only 460 lb.ft (www.rsportscars.com/porsche). Another difference is the horse power. The Bugatti has 1001 hp (www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) whereas the Porsche has only 480 hp (www.rsportscars.com/porsche). Finally, the weight of the Bugatti is 4339 lbs (www.rsportscars.com/bugatti) while the weight of the Porsche is 3130 lbs (www.rsportscars.com/porsche).

In conclusion, the differences outweigh the similarities and both of them are very fast and required from many people but the Bugatti is faster than the Porsche. In my opinion, if I had enough money I would buy the Bugatti Veyron because it is better than the Porsche from every side such as the speed, design and the prestige.

1964 Pontiac Grand Prix

The 1964 Grand Prix is one of the best-looking and most impressive Pontiacs ever. And it has nice wheels that are tucked a bit too far into the body. In many senses we are well rid of such excess. I understood that most Americans have big cars. The 1963 and 1965 Grand Prix models had visors over the stacked headlamps, but the 1964 has elegantly “frenched” lamps without excrescent, drag-producing elements. On this Grand Prix, the whole upper structure is pure, both classical and elegant. The overall look is insistently American, but the reverse curve at the leading and trailing edges of the rear pillars and the concave backlight refer to British knife-edge designs. Mitchell made a lot of use of “windsplits,” which he likened to creases in a well-pressed suit. There is one down the middle of the hood, one on each front fender, and a swelling version on the side of the rear fender, enlivening the simple side panels.

The Hajar Mountains

The Hajar Mountains are home to the Wadi Wurayah protected area in which more than 100 species of birds and other animals can be found. A big problem is that the concept of what it actually means to be a protected area is vague. The area faces serious threats. Such as litter, quarrying and over-exploitation of the water feeding the wadi. When a decree was issued by the ruler of Fujairah, the area became off-limits for development such as construction and quarrying. This wadi is recommended as a must-see in UAE off-road and tourist guides. It is also home to the garra barreimiae, which lives only in the Hajar Mountains. The main problem in the world is implementation. Another issue is sponsorship, which is vital to the success of the project. The project would not be successful if the HSBC did not donate money. Dibba Rock is an example. It is a marine protected area also in the emirate and it attracts divers and snorkelers.

Main Idea

It is about one of the rare places to find rare animals and plants.

Comment

It is very nice topic and I wish we get more information about these beautiful places.
